Tower is the RNLI's only floating lifeboat station and is a working environment, so flat footwear and outdoor clothing suitable for the weather are essential. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The RNLI may refuse access, cancel a tour, or terminate a tour early, for operational reasons. Booking is essential. Tours are free - but please make a donation when you visit.
Please arrive 5 minutes before the tour is due to start. It will last about 1 hour. Filming for a BBC series may be taking place on the pier; please do not book tickets for anyone who is unwilling to be filmed.
