An evening of emerging and explosive spoken word and poetry from some of the freshest talent in London inspired by one of the most vibrant rivers in the world hosted by Kat Francois.

The evening will feature new work by Jeremiah Brown aka SugarJ, who is one of the Nationwide’s ‘Voices’ campaign with his poem ‘Face to Face’, and has performed at venues including the Roundhouse, the Southbank Centre and Birmingham NEC Arena to name a few; Erin Bolens is a poet, performer and workshop leader and a former Glastonbury Festival Slam winner; 2017 UK Poetry Slam Individual Campion Toby Campion described by BBC Sunday Politics Show as "the voice of a generation" and Rachel Nwokoro is a London born Nigerian storyteller who was the first International Artist to be specially invited for a poetry residency in Mexico.

Boat Poets is a Thames Festival Trust talent development programme in collaboration with the Roundhouse and National Poetry Library.
