Come and watch the fantastic spectacle of the great river race at Chiswick pier on Saturday 3 September. Chiswick Pier is a wonderful vantage point for spectators and will be open to all.

The Great River Race, London's River Marathon, is a spectacular race for traditional boats up the River Thames, from Millwall to Ham, that attracts over 300 crews from all over the globe and appeals to every level of competitor from those who enjoy fun, fancy dress and charity stunts, to serious sportsmen and women who like to win and become the UK Traditional Boat Champions in the process. A great fun day out for competitors and spectators alike.

The race begins at Docklands at 12.25 on a “slowest first, fastest last” handicap basis. The first boats should be passing Chiswick Pier by 14.20 with the winner arriving at Ham at around 15.25.

Please do come and join us to enjoy the Fullers’ bar and refreshments, whilst watching the race. The Pier House and Bar open at 12.30.
