Thames21’s Michael Heath discusses the challenges of river management in Bexley, the devastating winter floods and a future of improved river health.

With the fall-out still continuing from the devastating winter floods, the health of our rivers remains of real concern. Thames21 is one of the country’s leading waterway charities. Working with communities to improve rivers and canals for people and wildlife, it helps to transform neglected waterways for everyone to enjoy. In this talk hosted by the Bexley Historical Society, Michael Heath from Thames21 will discuss the river in Bexley and the current challenges of river management.
