Clipper Ship Cutty Sark has been part of maritime Greenwich for over 60 years. The Thames has been an enduring feature of Cutty Sark’s life-story from her maiden voyage on the river in 1870; to delivering vast quantities of tea to Victorian London; to her life as a Thames training ship; and her resting place as a London icon in Greenwich. Join us for a talk developed especially for Totally Thames to find out more about this special relationship between ship and river and the Londoners who served on her.
