Float is a site specific and participatory audio walk. You will be taken on an experiential journey through the Woolwich foot tunnel, from North to South, ending at a reflective vista of the river Thames and the city.
The performance is designed for a group of people who will share the experience together, although it can be booked individually.Each participant will start the journey 30 seconds apart from each other, thus creating a visual and sonic canon, a choreography evocative of water.
By the instructions of a child’s voice, you will be provoked into having both a physical and emotional response. The foot tunnel will become a social space where a communal river dance is taking place. Float will invite you to playfully perform, obey and defy the instructions participating in the overall choreography.
