Join Fulham Palace's Community Archaeologist for this walk along the Fulham foreshore.

Examine a piece of Victorian glass or discover a shard of Roman pottery, who knows what will be discovered! The detritus of the river is an invaluable resource for archaeologists to piece together the stories of the past. Learn more about the wonderful world of archaeology and celebrate the historical role of the Thames during this popular annual outing.

Essential info

  • Access to the foreshore is via steps.
  • Due to the slippery, uneven and changeable surfaces involved in any walk along the foreshore, please note that we do not advise participation for visitors with mobility issues or young children.
