Grab yourself a drink from the bar and settle down for an evening of mudlarking chat with Lara Maiklem, London Mudlark on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Talking about the joys of mudlarking and reading from her newly published book Mudlarking (in bookshops from 22 August), Lara will also be chatting to two very special guests: type designer Robert Green, the man who found Doves - the famous lost Thames type; and Stuart Wyatt from the Museum of London, who is responsible for recording all the wonderful objects that are given up by the Thames.

The evening will conclude with a special showing of Kit Harwood's short film, 'London Mudlark', which seeks to explore the blurred boundary between junk and treasure.
