Potmaking from Thames River Clay for Firing on the Foreshore...

Create your own piece of Thames history by the river by crafting a pot, figure or whatever takes your fancy from Thames river clay before seeing it fired in one of two bonfires during Firing on the Foreshore on Saturday 13 September.

Absolutely no previous experience or skill required! This is how pots were made and fired in prehistory so come and experience the way your ancestors would have produced their household goods! Archaeologist Dr Fiona Haughey and earth artist Edith Slee will be on hand to help.
