Join artist Lizzie Cannon for a sewing circle with a difference to make up stories about mysterious things that have been washed up on the shore of the river.

You are invited to bring your own sewing projects or work on simple pre-designed cross stitch embroideries provided. The sewing will depict imagery relating to the River Thames and colouring will be available for younger children.

Lizzie Cannon will provide cards, each printed with a few sentences or picture describing something found on the river shores to get you creating stories.

This event is one of a series held in association with the exhibition ‘Liminal Matter’ by artist Lizzie Cannon
