This walk is a general introduction to the heritage and wildlife of the lower River Wandle and what we do with rivers in an urban landscape. There will be opportunites to spot wildlife along the way (wildlife permitting!) It is suitable for all ages but it should be noted that the pace will be moderate. Well behaved dogs on leads are permitted. Please note that part of the walk crosses a very busy main road so caution must be exercised and participants take part at their own risk. The Living River Wandle Landscape Partnership is a Heritage Lottery Funded project.
