The Thames River Swim gives open water enthusiasts the chance to enjoy a lovely group swim on a September evening.

Swimming in the Thames is a liberating and even exciting experience and one that leaves everyone that takes part with a smile on their face. The swim is approximately 1500 metres in length and the timing coincides with the turning tide so that swimmers are benefiting from tidal assistance both heading towards Chiswick Eyot and also on the return leg back towards Hammersmith. So why not join around 100 hardy swimmers so will set off from the Hammersmith banks by the Black Lion pub to enjoy the sites of London from a fantastically different perspective.

Once the swimming is over there will be a celebratory drink in the Black Lion which is conveniently located next to the swim entrance / exit.
