Discover Thamesmead’s iconic architecture with Bexley archivist, Simon McKeon, on this guided walking tour. Learn about the origins of Thamesmead, how and why this ‘New Town for London’, was built by the Greater London Council fifty years ago.

The walk takes place in public locale along paved areas – some steps may be encountered.
