Are you a poet aged 18 - 25 based in London, Bristol or Plymouth?

Are you looking for opportunities to develop your work and career?

Boat Poets are looking for emerging Spoken Word artists and Poets to take part in their series of paid, water based residencies. One of the poets will spend time behind the scenes at Totally Thames for their residency, spending time at our events and with the team to inspire the new body of work.

About the opportunity:

Boat Poets is a talent development project for poets and spoken word artists aged 18 - 25 to spend time on their local waterway. Each resident artist will be supported to create new work inspired by their waterway, whilst being given paid time to explore and work in new ways.

During the residency artists will have the opportunity to engage in professional development workshops and mentoring sessions. There will also be supported opportunities to develop new writing into a live performance and/or short film.

Deadline: Fri 29 July
