Marieta Evans hosts an online panel discussion looking at the history of the East India Docks as part of the project 'London's Lost Village'. The docks, which cut the Leamouth Peninsula off from the rest of London save by one road, were set up by the East India Company in 1803 and was the loading and unloading point for many of the ships that sailed to and from British colonies and beyond.
