Joined by historians Dr. Brian Belton and Peter Stone, Marieta Evans hosts an online panel discussion looking at the history of shipbuilding around Bow Creek. Following on from the ancient tradition at nearby Blackwall, firms such as the Ditchburn & Mare, Samuda Brothers, and eventually the Thames Ironworks & Shipbuilding Company made Bow Creek an important centre of iron shipbuilding in the nineteenth century.
