Thames Foreshore

Take advantage of the low tides in September to accompany one of our Thames Discovery Programme archaeologists on an archaeological exploration the Thames Foreshore. This ever-changing environment, exposed when the tide ebbs, contains evidence of human activity going back hundreds, sometimes thousands, of years. Learn about the work of the Foreshore Observation and Recording Group (FROG) in surveying and monitoring this vulnerable historic environment.
