Come and learn what makes Tower Lifeboat Station the busiest in the RNLI in a behind the scenes tour.

The RNLI saves lives at sea and on the Thames, with four lifeboat stations on the tidal river. Since opening in 2002, Tower Lifeboat Station has been the busiest in the UK, with crew on duty 24 hours a day, every day throughout the year.

Come and learn what keeps Tower Lifeboat Station so busy! You’ll see the kit the crew uses and the fastest lifeboat in the RNLI. The station is on a pier that was built at the same time as the Embankment and used as a river police station for over 125 years, and is now fully equipped with modern facilities.
