Be astounded by the impressive hydraulics, engines and boilers of the world’s most famous bridge on this exclusive tour of the illustrious structure’s hidden depths and out-of-bounds areas!

To celebrate the 120th anniversary of its opening by the Prince of Wales in 1894, and to mark the first ever Totally Thames month-long celebration of the river, Tower Bridge is offering a rare and extended tour of Tower Bridge, from the fascinating Exhibition to the hidden depths of the most famous bridge in the world…

Learn about the Bridge’s captivating history and construction from one of our experienced guides; admire the spectacular panoramic views from the high-level Walkways and wonder at the original steam pumping engines, accumulators and boilers in the atmospheric Engine Rooms.

Explore areas normally out of bounds to the public, including the Bridge Control Room, the immense Bascule Chambers below river level and the Machinery Room, which houses the impressive hydraulics that power the lifting of the Bridge.
