Cody Dock will be hosting the Lighting Up the Lea festival as part of Totally Thames; The weekend will have an array of local watersports clubs and organisations that will be participating in a mini regatta, giving demonstrations. The Canal and Rivers Trust and Thames 21 and Cody Dock will be highlighting volunteer opportunities.

On Saturday we will be having a duck race starting at 12:00 from Twelvetrees Gasworks Bridge by Bow Lock - taking the ½ KM route to Cody Dock - people will be able to purchase a duck from local shops, pubs and community centres.

On Sunday we will host a mini regatta and some races on stretch of the river that will include, Kayaks, Canoes, Pilot Gigs, row boats and paddle boards.

The gallery at Cody Dock will display a photography exhibition from the winners of our annual Calendar photo competition entries. The photos will have been taken throughout the year and highlight the River Lea.

There will be music and entertainment and a licenced bar and the cafe will be open serving, teas, coffees, cakes, and home cooked foods.

Accessibility: Good wheelchair accessibility on site and disabled toilet available. Some access onto community boat is restricted.
