Thames Day: Foreshore Clean-up & Talk

Featured Event: Thames 21 invite you to participate in a foreshore clean up at the Queenhithe Dock and Wharf as part of the Thames Day celebrations.

Trig Lane Steps - Queenhithe foreshore

Get ready to don your wellies and join Thames 21 for a foreshore clean-up on the Queenhithe Dock and Wharf to remove litter and plastic pollution. During the clean up, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the history and environmental impact of the Thames.

We would love you to come down and give a helping hand and learn some fun facts about the River Thames along the way.

Thames21 is the voice for London’s waterways, working with communities to improve rivers and canals for people and wildlife.

All ages welcome, children under the age of 18s to be accompanied by an adult. Boots and gloves will be provided by Thames21.

This event is part of Thames Day, an event produced in partnership with Destination City, a City of London Corporation programme, as part of Totally Thames.
