Thames Festival Trust’s annual Thames Lens photography competition offers an inspiring opportunity for photographers to capture and interpret the vibrant, ever-changing character of the River Thames in London. The photographs in this outdoor exhibition have been selected from the winners and runners-up of last year's competition.
The exhibition also features photographs celebrating 30 years of the Thames Path, showcasing the beauty and diversity of this iconic riverside route.
Standing by the Thames features portraits by Matthew Joseph celebrating some of the 25,000 people who built London’s hidden 25km super sewer, revealing the human stories behind the engineering that helps protect the River Thames.
Also on display is Thames from Above, an occupier-only photography competition created in partnership with 20 Fenchurch Street. Each floor of the building offers a unique perspective of the Thames, and the resulting images have been brought together into a striking collage by renowned photographer Henry Reichhold.
