Come and celebrate the past, present and future of Thamesmead.

Discover untold stories and unexpected waterside happenings featuring the best of Thamesmead’s creative talent. Emergency Exit Arts, one of the UK’s leading outdoor arts companies will be bringing joy and the spectacle to the iconic Southmere Lake and many locations of interest over a fun packed weekend.

Explore an angler’s tent, a horse box, a bus, a carwash, an abbey, someone’s house – all of these will become sites for theatre, dance, art installations, storytelling, discussion and connecting.

The festival will launch on Friday evening at The Link, with a showcase of Thamesmead’s home-grown talent; Saturday will centre around the Thamesmead Country Show with a mix of old school entertainment and surprising art experiences and Sunday will see a variety of art, performances and storytelling around different venues and outdoor locations across Thamesmead’s diverse landscape and neighbourhoods.
