The BIG Art & Storytelling Tall Ships Project has been created to be the artistic celebration of the Falmouth to Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Regatta. John Dyer, the artist in residence for the regatta invites children to paint and write, inspired by his official painting. An exhibition of the winning pieces, along with work produced by local children, will be displayed in the Greenwich Heritage Centre during the Tall Ships Festival and on Saturday 6 Sept there will be a workshop where you can add to the big tall ships collage at the Heritage Centre.

“The BIG Art & Storytelling Tall Ships Project is charismatic. John Dyer’s new Tall Ships painting, combined with professional storytelling, creates an irresistible hub for creativity to flourish.” Philip Mould OBE. Art Expert on BBC Fake or Fortune.

Activities and materials are suitable for those aged 4 an over but younger children are welcome to join in with the help of their families.
