Set within London’s busiest lifeboat station, the exhibition will invite visitors into the heart of our lifesaving world, offering a rare opportunity to explore artwork, photography, and historic pieces from the RNLI’s remarkable collection. The gallery will celebrate the evolution of lifesaving on the Thames, contrasting early lifeboats and equipment with today’s vessels to highlight our commitment to sustainability and innovation. By showcasing these stories through art, we aim to bring the river’s heritage, challenges and communities to life in a visually compelling way. Visitors will be encouraged to make a small donation upon entry, with every pound supporting our 24/7 rescue service and the volunteers who keep London’s river users safe.
