Access

Level Access

There are level access routes on both the north side and south side of Blackfriars Bridge

There is no wheelchair accessible riverside route between the exhibition and Blackfriars Bridge / Blackfriars Station due to an out of service lift on Peter’s Hill.  A wheelchair accessible route is via Queen Victoria Street.

Signs will guide you along a wheelchair accessible route between the riverside exhibition and the film installation on Blackfriars Bridge between the 17th and 20th September only.

Viewing Areas

There is construction happening on Blackfriars Bridge. Level viewing areas will be cleared for the duration of the installation. 

Rest Spaces 

We have a designated welcome area on the south side of Blackfriars Bridge where you can access information and support as well as a rest area in Blackfriars Station. Both spaces will be staffed with seating available. You can check the site video for location information before you arrive. 

Noise cancellation headphones, stools and sensory tools will be available at the welcome area and rest area.

Support Staff

There will be stewards, volunteers and access support workers ready to welcome all audience members on the bridge. Detailed access information can be found in the access section at the bottom of this page. If you have any questions in advance, please email.

Accessible Toilets 

There are accessible toilets in Blackfriars station

There is paid parking, including blue badge parking at Baynard House car park
