We are inviting proposals for Totally Thames festival 2026 and welcome applications from:
- Artists and arts organisations working in any artform, including performance, visual arts, digital, and film
- Heritage, community, environmental, and river-related projects
All proposals must be inspired by the River Thames, its waterways, or themes of sustainability.
Deadline: Tuesday 10 March, 11:59pm.

Need a venue?
Projects must take place on or near the River. For selected projects, we can help identify exciting and unique river locations. Please note that venue hire costs may still apply.
What we’re looking for
Projects that:
- Place the river at their heart, with particular interest in climate change and sustainability themes
- Have funding in place or a realistic funding plan
- Take place in London on or around the Thames between 1–30 September 2026
If selected, you will need to provide all relevant licenses and permissions.
- Public Liability Insurance
- A Risk Assessment
- A PRS form (for any live music components)
Ticketing
Thames Festival Trust must handle the ticketing of your event, please note we take 10% net of VAT of all ticket sales to cover admin and credit card fees- this amount will be invoiced and deducted from your ticket sales income prior to settlement.

We are committed to providing reasonable adjustments throughout the application process and beyond, but as a small organisation with very limited budgets, we are not able to provide funding for Access Support workers to help you with your application.

Annabel Taylor-Munt
Annabel completed her Degree in Design at Goldsmiths University of London, before going on to receive various grants to write and produce moving image work. Taking a keen interest in community-focused projects and local history she joined the Thames Festival Team as an intern in the heritage department before becoming the Totally Thames Programme Manager.
