A sightseer’s London checklist, from the Houses of Parliament to the Tower of London. A boat trip under three Brunel bridges to the launch ways of Brunel’s monster ship. A train journey through his Tunnel into a secret underground chamber. NB The chamber doorway is barely one metre tall and will close forever in October. A last chance to crawl into the ‘eighth wonder of the world’. Bring travel card valid for zone 2 train journey.

Robert Hulse, curator of the Brunel Museum, hosts a river cruise under three Brunel bridges to the launch ramps of Brunel’s monster ship, with colourful commentary on London’s riverside sights from the Houses of Parliament to the Tower of London. The tour finishes with a descent into Brunel’s cavernous tunnel. NB The chamber doorway is barely one metre tall and will close forever in October. A last chance to crawl into the ‘eighth wonder of the world’. Bring travel card valid for zone 2 train journey.
