To many Londoners and visitors to our wonderful metropolis, the River Thames represents a unique body of water that connects the East and West of the city. Via the river’s many bridges, we also talk of the North and South of London. MSCTY, through our latest sonic placemaking programme, seeks to introduce new creative links between locations along the river, through a sound journey along the Thames that builds a new connection between the Royal Docks and the London Bridge area, via two new pieces of music for Tower Bridge and London Bridge City Pier, as well as a soundtrack to the journey itself with a unique track inspired by the sites and sounds from onboard an Uber Boat by Thames Clippers. We hope people will enjoy making inspiring new journeys full of dynamic experiences as they join the dots of musical interactions at all three locations down by the river!
