The Thames Path National Trail traces the River Thames from its source in Gloucestershire to the Woolwich Foot Tunnel, where it meets the King Charles III England Coast Path.
Integrated along the trail, there are new riverside public spaces created by the Thames Tideway Tunnel, each incorporating newly commissioned public artworks.
Thames Path at 30 focuses on the new Tideway public spaces, the Thames Path and the riverside walkway on north and south banks of the river between Hampton Court and the Dartford Crossing.
Photographers are invited to submit images which show people enjoying this wonderful, free, public amenity in all seasons.
We will select winning images taken:
Winners and Runner ups will be exhibited in an outdoor public exhibition at Bazalgette Embankment near Blackfriars Bridge during Totally Thames Festival 2026 throughout September.
In the 20 years since its inception, Thames Lens has provided a highly valued opportunity for photographers to depict the vibrant, multifaceted character of London's River Thames. Thames Lens is sponsored by Port of London Authority.
