Isleworth Ait is a secluded island nature reserve in the River Thames adjacent to Kew Gardens. We are offering up to three guided tours for small groups of the Ait by boat and on foot. Each tour will last approximately 90 minutes, including the short boat trip from the quay in Isleworth to the island and back and a walk along the rough path through the woods - about 1/2 a mile in each direction.
Visitors to the Ait should wear wellington boots, trousers and a long-sleeved shirt. Suitable headwear is also recommended and waterproofs in case of rain.
Please note that dogs, pets and other animals are not permitted on the island and that the tour is unsuitable for children under the age of 5. Children aged 6 to 17 should be accompanied by a responsible adult. There are no toilet facilities on the Ait.
