Discover one of London’s lost rivers. Counters Creek is a small stream with a big history. Traced back to medieval times the river has served many purposes over the years and still operates as part of the drainage system of west London. Beginning at the confluence of Counters Creek and the Thames, follow the path up to Shepherds Bush mapping the hidden flow of the river and hunt for evidence of its survival today. Can you find the remains of the original canal bridge opposite West Brompton Station?
