Kayaking for Beginners at Kew Bridge

Chelsea Kayak Club (CKC)

Beginner sessions for those new to sea kayaking or those with limited recent experience. See the River Thames from a totally new perspective while learning how to kayak.

Brentford Boating Arch, Kew Bridge (North-East side of the road bridge) W4 3NG (near Kew Bridge rail station)

In conjunction with Totally Thames, London's only dedicated sea kayaking club - CKC - is running some beginner sessions on the River Thames for newcomers to get a taste for kayaking and meet a friendly club, who also organise regular trips to kayak on the Thames and on the sea. Each session will last about 1hr 30mins and be run by two experienced paddlers and there are 6 spaces on each session for those new to kayaking. The beginner sessions include a safety briefing, instruction on how to kayak and an independent paddle on the River Thames near to Kew Bridge. Over 18s only.
