Hear the heartwarming sounds of over 450 primary school children singing as one. This colossal choir of young voices will sing an eclectic repertoire of songs from around the world.
Led by Richard Frostick, Kids Choir has been centrepiece of the Mayor's Thames Festival for the past 12 years. The project develops a high quality choral performance with children from 12 London boroughs. In 2014, 450 children will come together so sing and enjoy the experience of performing to a large audience in the Scoop at More London on Sunday 14 September.
About Kids’ Choir
Kids’ Choir is a Year 5 singing project which builds upon the highly successful model developed by the Mayor’s Thames Festival since 2003, aimed at increasing and supporting singing in schools. This project is led by Richard Frostick, founder of Islington Music Centre, Director of Youth Music, member of the arts advisory panel of the British Council and music advisor to the BBC.
