Ever wondered what was lurking beneath the murky waters of the River Thames? From being declared ‘biologically dead’ in the 1960s, the Thames now hosts a vast array of life from eels to seals. This is your opportunity to come face to face with some of these amazing creatures, whilst learning about the biodiversity of the Thames from conservationists at the Zoological Society of London (ZSL). During the event you will have the chance to go on a wildlife hunt in the rock pools on the foreshore of the Thames, and learn about the creatures you find from ZSL conservationists. Witness ZSL staff carry out a 'Seine net' survey and then identify and learn about the fish that are caught. Sign up now if you want to discover more about the aquatic life that calls London home - and be quick as spaces are limited!
