Notes
SB Will is an historic vessel designed to carry commercial cargo not passengers. As a Sailing Barge she retains numerous features that may inhibit ease of movement around the decks, along with this some working tackle may be greased and therefore cannot be touched.
Our friendly and helpful crew will be on hand to help everyone embark and disembark but sadly THIS VESSEL IS NOT WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY and is not suitable for anyone who might be unsteady on their feet as traffic on the river can cause considerable movement on the barge. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND that the lead guest views SB Will before confirming the booking if there is a possibility that some guests may have issues with mobility.
Babies in arms and Under 2’s are allowed onboard free of charge, we ask that there is one supervising adult for every child under 16 attending. There is limited space for pushchair storage, we ask that you don’t bring this unless absolutely necessary. We will operate Under2’s on a first come first service basis as we allow a max of 3 onboard per cruise.
Please come prepared for a day on the river and bring some layers as it can get chilly on deck, even in the middle of summer. Flat soled non- slip shoes are also advisable to provide sure footing on deck when moving about the boat.
