Swan House foreshore garden, Chiswick Mall, W4 2PS

Local ceramic sculptor Caroline Winn has been exploring the foreshore at Chiswick and incorporating and recording her experiences in clay. Her work, which has been exhibited in galleries in London and Cornwall, is known for its experimental and playful approach. It references objects and flotsam found along the Thames and Caroline often fires these artefacts into the clay surface of her pieces, with sometimes exciting and unpredictable results.

This exhibition will be in the beautiful riverside garden at the east end of Chiswick Mall and visitors are encouraged to bring their own foreshore finds from around nearby Chiswick Eyot as there will be an archaeologist on hand to answers questions and help identify them.
