Totally Thames Blast

Thames Rockets are delighted to announce our ‘Totally Thames Blast’ as part of Totally Thames 2019, a season of unmissable events which brings London’s river to life throughout the month of September with an exciting programme of arts, cultural, archaeological and river events.

Celebrate this year’s festival on the river with a speedy, 21st century twist! Along with our partners we’re really proud to once again be offering an adventure where you can learn about the greatest river in the world through river events that are happening along almost 50 miles of the Thames.

Step aboard our lightning quick ‘Rockets’ at London Bridge City Pier, in the shadow of Tower Bridge. Say cheerio to the past as you whizz ahead of the big, slow tourist boats and feel the wind in your hair as we open up the throttles on our 630 horsepower engines!

For 15 minutes we’ll show you how far we’ve come in over 2 millennia! With music pumping from the speakers, we’ll twist and turn at speeds of 30 knots!

Thames Rockets are the first and original speedboat tour operator, first launched in 2006 and have maintained our place as the No.1 on TripAdvisor for over nine years now. Recently we were crowned Visit England’s ‘Family Friendly Attraction of the Year’. You will be in store for the fastest, funniest, craziest trip ever!

Running every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in September from London Bridge City Pier, sailings begin at 11.00 and finish at 17.00, tickets are subject to availability, Thames Rockets advise during high season to look to book two weeks in advance.
