In celebration of Wasafiri’s 30th anniversiry, six acclaimed contemporary writers share readings on the Thames for one special afternoon of ‘words on the water’.

Come and celebrate Wasafiri’s 30th birthday on a river cruise that brings together six of the best writers representing all that is great about London — the world under one roof. Readings that cross continents and cultures meet in the capital on this boat for one special afternoon of the most amazing ‘words on the water’. With author and Guardian critic Sukhdev Sandhu, award-winning novelists A M Bakalar and Gabriel Gbadamosi and acclaimed poets Michelle Cahill, Zena Edwards and Ruth Padel. The event will be hosted by the Forward Prize winning poet Daljit Nagra. Each ticket holder will receive a free copy of Wasafiri’s 30th anniversary issue and a commemorative linen bag.
