An exhibition following the living history of London’s boatyards, documented as part of the Working River project. Telling the stories of boat builders from Teddington to the Thames Barrier, the project has recorded the working lives of these boatyards, their history and their legacy for the river today.
This exhibition features the photography of Hydar Dewachi, who was commissioned this summer to respond to these yards, and the people who work there.
There will also be lunchtime screenings of the documentary film 'No Cash, No Splash: An Oral History of London's Boatyards' produced for the project about the boatyards, by production company digital:works.
