Adam Sadiq is a multidisciplinary artist and creative technologist whose work focuses on the field of social-ecological futures. This explores how - by accepting that society and nature are deeply connected and interdependent - we can dream, create and invent our own futures that explore, celebrate and nurture this connection. By working with different communities to explore issues like the climate crisis, Adam hopes to help them express their own visions of a future where growing the social-ecological awareness of all participants in society is front and centre.
Adam has previously worked with Forum for the Future, FACT Liverpool and with METAL on their Future Network Shorts series. He has worked internationally with the Digital Arts Centre Taipei and ZoneSound Studios on a project exploring the sensing of urban pollution with school teachers and the public in Taipei. Adam is a member of staff at FabLab Liverpool in the Liverpool School of Art and Design and leads the Ecosystem 2 project, a developing platform of learning resources, sensing kits and activities for teachers, pupils and communities to explore and make their environments more climate resilient.
