Often Gaby's work is related to site-specific, traditional female roles, the domestic and rural landscape. Her interest developed in combining paintings, sculpture, sound and film projection for installation, sometimes with a performative element.
In 2008 Gaby trained in the Artist Education in Galleries Programme, ENGAGE and is now a co-Director of Participate Arts created in 2013, the company’s vision is to increase opportunities for participation and unlock creativity, building relationships with communities, particularly those least likely to engage in Contemporary Arts and Culture.
She is interested in creative place-making and engagement with people, working with people and their stories to ignite powerful ideas and create social learning experiences, often with environmental themes.
